Bengals cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris has been suspended two games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, the team announced Wednesday.

Lewis-Harris, 25, appeared in six games and recorded two tackles for Cincinnati last season. He is eligible to play in preseason games but can't return to the active roster until Monday, September 15.

The Bengals signed Lewis-Harris as an undrafted free agent out of FCS-level Tennessee-Chattanooga in 2012.
