Iowa offensive lineman Brandon Scherff injured his right hamstring at the NFL combine on Friday, according to NFL Network reporter Kim Jones.

Scherff recorded 23 repetitions on the bench press and ran a 5.07 40-yard dash with 1.78-second 10-yard splits.

This season Scherff was named first-team All-Big Ten and won the Outland Trophy, which is given to the nation's top interior lineman.

The 6-foot-5, 319-pounder is projected as the No. 5 overall pick in SI.com's latest mock draft.
