Report: Former Browns DL Phil Taylor visits Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted former Cleveland Browns defensive lineman Phil Taylor on a visit, reports ESPN's Field Yates.
The Browns announced the release of Taylor on Tuesday.
The Steelers are looking for help on their defensive line. Outside of Cameron Heyward, no one on Pittsburgh's depth chart on the defensive line recorded more than one sack last season.
Taylor is a former first-round pick, taken No. 21 overall by Cleveland in 2011 draft. He played in only five games last season due to a knee injury.
