The Giants lost two defensive linemen to injuries in Monday night’s game against the Dolphins. Starting defensive tackle Markus Kuhn left with a knee injury and will not return, the team announced, and defensive end George Selvie is out for the game after being diagnosed with a concussion

Kuhn, who was promoted to a starting role after the loss of Jonathan Hankins, has played in nine games this season and made six starts.

The injury to Kuhn leaves Montori Hughes, who was signed off the practice squad last month, as the only other healthy defensive tackle on New York’s roster. Defensive ends Robert Ayers and Jason Pierre-Paul have moved inside in certain situations in the past.

Jets rookie Devin Smith out for season with torn ACL

The Giants are lacking depth on the defensive line due to injuries to Hankins and Owa Odighizuwa, and because the team cut Damontre Moore last week after he reportedly fought with a teammate.
