Quarterback Josh Freeman will workout for the Indianapolis Colts on Monday, reports Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report.

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has not been ruled out, but is recovering from a lacerated kidney and a partially torn abdominal muscle he sustained on Nov. 10. Matt Hasselbeck is nursing a shoulder injury. Charlie Whitehurst replaced Hasselbeck in Sunday's 18–12 win but sustained a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter.

Whitehurst was placed on injured reserve Monday.

Freeman, 27, has not taken a snap since 2013, but was a member of the Dolphins' practice squad. He was among several roster cuts on Sept. 4.

The Colts are 7–8 on the season and will play the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
