New England Patriots left tackle Sebastian Vollmer, who left Sunday’s loss to the Jets with a left ankle injury, will reportedly return for the playoffs.

New England Patriots left tackle Sebastian Vollmer, who left Sunday’s loss to the Jets with a left ankle injury, will return for the playoffs, CSNNE reports.

Vollmer exited in the first quarter, and would not return. He was replaced by recent free-agent addition LaAdrian Waddle, who also sustained an injury.

The 31-year-old is not expected to play in New England’s season finale against the Dolphins. If Waddle is unable to go, Cameron Fleming would get the start.

The Patriots need a win on Sunday to clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
