Coach Landon Donovan names roster for MLS Homegrown Game

Manager Landon Donovan has named the 22 players he'll coach in the MLS Homegrown Game against Club America's U-20 side during MLS All-Star festivities next week.
Donovan has tabbed the likes of Chicago Fire midfielder Harry Shipp, San Jose Earthquakes forward Tommy Thompson and Sporting Kansas City center back Erik Palmer-Brown for the second annual match, which highlights the league's player who have come up through the academy and Homegrown Player system.
Last year, MLS played the Portland Timbers U-23s to a 0-0 draw at Providence Park prior to the All-Star game against Bayern Munich. This year's contest will take place Tuesday, July 28th at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado, a night before the MLS All-Stars take on Tottenham at the same venue.
Here is the full roster that will take on Club America's U-20 side:
