United States, Costa Rica will play at Red Bull Arena on Oct. 13

The United States will face Costa Rica at Red Bull Arena on Oct. 13.

The United States will face Costa Rica in a friendly at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey on Oct. 13, the New York Red Bulls announced Saturday. 

Tickets will be available to the general public on Friday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. ET through ussoccer.com. 

This is the third game for the USMNT at Red Bull arena. The team last played there in 2014, a 2–1 win over Turkey. 

Costa Rica and the USMNT have not met since playing each other three times in 2013, with the U.S. winning two of the matches. The U.S. is 13-4-4 against Costa Rica in its home country.

Costa Rica won the most recent matchup, a 3–1 win in World Cup qualifying in a match played in Central America. 

The U.S. will play Mexico on Oct. 10.
