U.S. men's national team midfielder Alejandro Bedoya scored the winner for FC Nantes in the Coupe de France on Wednesday, bringing the club into the last 16 with an extra-time finish.

Bedoya came on as a substitute in the 104th minute and scored moments later, in stoppage time of the first half of extra time against Mantes 78, a club in France's fourth division. It was Bedoya's first goal for club or country since April 25 against Toulouse in league play, and it provided all Nantes needed in the 1-0 win.

The goal came on some direct Route 1 play, with Bedoya running onto a flicked-on header following a long ball out of the back before finishing from inside the box. Watch below:

Bedoya and Nantes return to action Saturday at home against Bordeaux in a Ligue 1 meeting of mid-table teams.
