Montreal Impact forward Didier Drogba will return for another season with the MLS club, reports Grant Wahl of Sports Illustrated.
The 37-year-old is entering his second season with the Impact after transferring from Chelsea following the 2014–2015 European season. The Ivory Coast star has played in 457 games since turning pro with Le Mans in 1998.
Drogba played well for Montreal last season, scoring 11 goals in 11 appearances. The Impact qualified for the MLS playoffs, losing to the Columbus Crew in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
On Sunday, Drogba tweeted a picture of himself heading to Qatar, were he will spend his preseason training.
