England begins its quest to end a 50-year major trophy drought against Russia, when the two cap a triple-header of Euro 2016 action in Marseille. 

English fans' unruly and violent behavior has been the focus in the build-up to the match, but the Three Lions will attempt to turn the focus back on the field, where Harry Kane, Wayne Rooney and Jamie Vardy lead a confident side that won all 10 of its qualifying matches. 

On the other end is Russia, the 2018 World Cup host, which will have to cope with playing without influential attacking midfielder Alan Dzagoev, who is out of the tournament with an injury.
