A fan ran onto the pitch for selfie with Cristiano Ronaldo–and succeeded–after Portugal and Austria tied 0-0 after 90 minutes in Euro 2016 on a frustrating night for the Portugal star and captain.
A security guard intervened but Ronaldo stopped to pose with the fan. The incident came moments after Ronaldo missed a crucial penalty kick that could have won the game. Ronaldo was vying to become the first player to score in four European Championships, but he put his penalty off the post. As a result, each team gained one point in Group F and remains behind upstarts Hungary and Iceland, who also tied on the day, 1-1.
