Switzerland star Xherdan Shaqiri scored a brilliant bicycle kick goal from the edge of the box to tie Saturday’s knockout round-of-16 match against Poland at Euro 2016.

With the Swiss trailing 1–0 late in the second half, Shaqiri got onto the end of a deflected cross and whipped an overhead kick that rattled off the right post and into the net in spectacular fashion to beat Lukasz Fabianski.

Jakub Blaszczykowski's goal in the first half appeared to be good enough for Poland to move on until Shaqiri turned in his moment of magic.

The goal sent the match to extra time, and Poland prevailed in penalties, 5-4, after the 1-1 draw.
