Two pit crew members were struck by a car on pit road during Sunday's Indianapolis 500.

The incident occurred when three cars attempted to exit pit road at the same time. James Davison's car collided with Pippa Mann's, sending Davison toward Tristan Vautier's pit crew. All three drivers are members of the Dale Coyne Racing team.

Greg Senerius, one of the crew members hit, was treated at the scene at cleared to return to the pit. The other man, Daniel Jang, was sent to a local hospital with a right ankle injury, Indianapolis Motor Speedway said.

"Unfortunately I got sent out there at the same time Pippa was coming and we made contact and it sent us into our second team car,'' Davison said, according to ESPN.com. "Just a very unfortunate situation."
