While on duty at the Canada vs. Czech Republic game at the World Junior Hockey Championships, Los Angeles Kings scout Mike Futa purchased a ticket to the 50/50 draw. That ticket ended up being worth roughly $87,000.

The Czech Republic lost 5-0 to Canada. Futa is a former European professional hockey player and was a captain of the hockey team at York University.
