The MLB.com At Bat app with its latest update provides users the ability to watch MLB video highlights from the notification center of iOS 10, thanks to the 3D Touch capability.
Apps like Calendar, Weather and Stocks have been using 3D Touch to provide quick glances at information, and now it can conveniently bring baseball highlights just in time for the start of the playoffs.
For the recently released iOS 10 on iPhone, simply picking up the phone now wakes it up and brings a user to the notification center and lock screen. Hearing the crack of the bat at the start of the day is easier than ever with the improved functionality for those obsessed with America’s national pastime.
At Bat has a monthly fee of $2.99 and runs through the end of the World Series. MLB.TV Premium subscribers receive the app’s premium features for free.
