In this week's episode of the SI Tennis Beyond the Baseline Podcast, Sports Illustrated executive editor and host Jon Wertheim talks with World No. 32 and American Steve Johnson.

From his home in Redondo Beach, Calif., Johnson reports on the status of his offseason thus far and assesses his third full year on the ATP Tour. The 25-year-old also discusses the adjustments he had to make from his college tennis career at USC to the ATP Tour, where losing is much more common. Johnson and Wertheim also talk about doubles as part of his tennis identity, the strategy for beating No. 1 Novak Djokovic, his relationship with and opinion on next wave of young American men's players, the role of faith and religion in his life and in professional tennis and more.
