137 Iowa St -10 @ 138 West Virginia (53.5)
Iowa St (3-2 SU, 3-2 ATS); West Virginia (3-2 SU, 2-2 ATS)
Iowa State's Brock Purdy is the best quarterback in college football nobody talks about. Purdy ranks fifth in the nation in both total offense (356.2) and passing yardage (315.6) and is the Cyclones' career leader in completion percentage (68.3), as well as passing efficiency (167.8). These two schools might have identical records but don't let that fool you. The Cyclones are double-digit favorites out in Vegas for a reason and the sharps are laying the wood on the road with the 'stronger' 3-2 team. Lay the 10 points with confidence on Saturday with Iowa State.
• The Under is 4-1 in the last five meetings between the teams
• The Favorite is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings between the clubs
• Iowa State is 20-8-1 ATS in its last 29 conference games
• Iowa State is 9-4-1 ATS in its last 14 road games
THE PLAY: 137 Iowa State -10
187 UAB -12 @ 188 UTSA (47.5)
UAB (4-1 SU, 3-2 ATS); UTSA (2-3 SU, 2-3 ATS)
UAB, who won its first three games, bounced back from its first loss of the season to Western Kentucky with a 35-20 win over Rice last week as 10-point favorites. The sharps see value with a UAB team that is 6-1 ATS in its last seven games against teams with a losing record. Lay double digits on the road team Saturday against a Roadrunner club that is 2-10-1 ATS in their last 13 games at home.
• UAB is 19-6-1 ATS in its last 26 conference games
• UTSA is 7-17-1 ATS in its last 25 games overall
• UTSA is 2-10-1 ATS in its last 13 home games
• The Under is 13-5 in the Blazers' last 18 conference games
• The Under is 14-3 in the Roadrunners' last 17 conference games
• UAB is 6-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record
THE PLAY: 187 UAB -12
123 Navy +1 @ 1124 Tulsa (53.5)
Navy (3-1 SU, 3-1 ATS); Tulsa (2-3 SU, 3-2 ATS)
The Navy Midshipmen are 5-1 in the series vs. the Golden Hurricanes and have won all three meetings at Tulsa. However, on Saturday, Navy will be attempting to win the first road contest in its last 15 games (0-14). Navy blew a big fourth-quarter lead last week against Air Force but was able to hang on for a 34-25 win. Meanwhile, Tulsa also blew a lead in the fourth quarter last week and eventually lost in three OTs to SMU. The sharps see value with Navy as a slight 'dog and believe it will finally end its 14-game road losing streak.
• Navy is 4-1 ATS in its last five conference games
• Tulsa is 3-7 ATS in its last 10 home games
• Tulsa is 3-7 ATS in its last 10 home games vs. a team with a winning road record
• The road team is 5-1 ATS in their last six meetings
THE PLAY: 123 Navy +1
151 Washington -6.5 @ 152 Arizona (59.5)
Washington (4-2 SU, 4-2 ATS); Arizona ([4-1 SU, 2-2 ATS)
Arizona is one of the biggest surprises in college football in 2019, as many had them picked to finish at the bottom of the Pac-12. But instead, the Wildcats find themselves in first place after five games. They will be looking to extend their winning streak to five straight Saturday against the visiting Huskies. Washington took us down last week when it lost SU as double-digit favorites to Stanford 23-13. The Huskies have won the last two meetings versus Arizona and holds a 21-11-1 edge in the all-time series, but the sharps see strong value grabbing the points with the home 'dog. With this game being an 8 p.m. PT kickoff, we would advise putting a little extra on this one should the earlier games all get home prior to the start. Take the Wildcats and the +6.5 on Saturday night.
• Washington is 3-9 ATS in its last 12 conference games
• Washington is 3-9 ATS in its last 12 road games
• Arizona is 5-1-1 ATS in its last seven conference games
• Arizona is 5-1-1 ATS in its last seven home games
• The home team is 8-1 ATS in the last nine meetings between the teams
• The Over is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Arizona
• The Over is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings
• The Huskies are 1-4 ATS in their last five meetings in Arizona
THE PLAY: 152 Arizona +6.5
