Cowboys vs. Cardinals Betting Trends
- Brian Schottenheimer is 2-2 straight up and against the spread as a head coach in the preseason
- Mike LaFleur is 1-1 straight up and against the spread as a head coach in the preseason
Cowboys vs. Cardinals Key Player to Watch
- Camden Brown, WR - Dallas Cowboys
Camden Brown could be a name to watch for the Dallas Cowboys. The undrafted free agent is doing his best to make their regular season roster, and he took a significant step toward doing exactly that in the Cowboys' first preseason game, racking up three receptions for 62 yards and two touchdowns. We'll see if he can deliver a similar performance in Week 2.
Cowboys vs. Cardinals Prediction and Best Bet
The Cardinals played in high-scoring games both in the Hall of Fame Game and Week 1. 63 points were scored in their game against the Cardinals, and then 41 points were scored in their game against the Raiders. It's not surprising when you consider that the Cardinals' defense is likely to be one of the worst in the NFL this season.
I'm not going to look too much into the Cowboys' low-scoring 17-7 win against the Seahawks. Their roster from last season hasn't changed enough to convince me their defense has turned things around. I expect them to be all-offense and no-defense again this year.
Even with backups playing in this game, I expect the total to go OVER.
Pick: OVER 37.5 (-112) via DraftKings
