Green Bay Packers Win Total Projection for 2026 Season (More of the Same In Store for Packers Fans)

In this story:
Green Bay Packers fans continue to wait and hope for the Packers to take the next step in the Jordan Love era, which would mean winning the NFC North and going on a deep postseason run.
Unfortunately, they've been given similar results after similar results. Their last three seasons have ended with records of 9-8, 11-6, and 9-7-1, all three years resulting in a wild card berth and going a combined 1-3 in playoff games.
Love has shown flashes of greatness, but it's time for him to take his next step in his development for the Packers to realize their full potential. The betting market isn't convinced that's going to happen this year. Let's dive into their projected win total.
2026 Green Bay Packers Win Total Projection
Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook
- OVER 9.5 Wins (-130)
- UNDER 9.5 Wins (+110)
DraftKings has the Packers' win total set at 9.5, with the OVER juiced to -130. That means there's an implied probability of 56.52% that they'll finish with a record of 10-7 or better. That's going to slow them in with a record that's going to be near-identical to how they've finished every year in the Love era.
One of the things working against the Packers is their schedule. They play in the ultra-competitive NFC North, and they enter the year with the ninth-most difficult schedule based on their opponents' projected win totals.
With all of that in mind, I still think their win total of 9.5 is too low. In my season betting preview article, 32 Bets for 32 Teams, I made the case for betting on the OVER 9.5 wins:
I have high hopes for the Packers this season, a team that ranked sixth in the NFL in offensive DVOA in 2025. Their defense is what cost them in 2025, but bringing in the likes of Zaire Franklin in free agency and spending their top pick on cornerback Brandon Cisse out of South Carolina should bolster that unit. They failed to reach 10 wins last year, finishing at 9-7-1, but I have faith they can reach that mark this year.
I'm not going to make the claim that the Packers are going to be a Super Bowl contender, or even win the NFC North, but they have too much depth from top to bottom and are led by too good a head coach to not go at least 10-7 this season.
Pick: OVER 10.5 Wins (-130) via DraftKings
