Oklahoma vs. Colorado Prediction, Odds, Key Player to Watch for College Basketball Crown Quarterfinals

In this story:
The NCAA Tournament may be wrapping up this weekend, but we still have the College Basketball Crown to watch and bet on!
Eight teams across the Big 12, Big Ten, SEC, and Big East will face off in a single-elimination bracket tournament, with the action starting on Wednesday night. The first of two games will feature the Oklahoma Sooners from the SEC against the Colorado Buffaloes from the Big 12.
Oklahoma got hot to end its season, winning six straight games before falling to the Arkansas Razorbacks by three points in the SEC Tournament. Colorado didn't have the same success late in its season, going 1-3 in its final four games.
Let's dive into the odds and my best bet for tonight's game.

Oklahoma vs. Colorado Key Player to Watch
- Nijel Pack, G - Oklahoma Sooners
A big reason for Oklahoma's hot streak late in the season was the play of Nijel Pack. He scored 19+ points in four straight games to close out the season, including putting up 24 points and five assists against South Carolina in the first round of the SEC Tournament. If Oklahoma wins this tournament, it'll be largely because of the play of Pack.
Oklahoma vs. Colorado Prediction and Pick
Instead of betting on a side in this game, I'm looking at the total, and I'm going to bet the OVER. Both teams are similar in the fact that they're great shooting teams who struggle defensively.
Oklahoma and Colorado rank 37th and 95th in effective field goal percentage, but 264th and 281st in defensive efficiency. It's also worth noting the Sooners are primarily a three-point shooting team, and now they get to face a Colorado team that ranks 341st in opponent three-point field goal percentage, allowing teams to shoot 36.8% from beyond the arc.
The Buffaloes also play at a relatively fast pace, ranking 106th in the country in adjusted tempo. If they can push the pace in this game, we could be in for a high-scoring affair.
