Manny Pacquiao appeared on ESPN's His & Hers show on Wednesday and was asked if he believes MMA fighter Ronda Rousey could beat Floyd Mayweather in an MMA fight.

Rousey is the UFC women's bantamweight champion, while Mayweather and Pacquiao are widely considered their generation's best pound-for-pound fighters.

"I believe so," he said. "She's strong and she's strong enough to beat Floyd Mayweather in MMA."

Rousey moved up to No. 2 in SI.com's latest pound-for-pound rankings. Last month, she defended her UFC title by defeating Cat Zingano in 14 seconds.

Mayweather and Pacquiao will fight on May 2 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nev.
