Texas A&M junior swingman Jalen Jones has been determined to be eligible by the NCAA to participate in the entire upcoming season, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
KBTX in College Station, Texas is reporting that he will be forced to sit the first four games of his senior year in the 2015-16 season.
The news comes after it had been determined that Jones participated in two closed scrimmages for SMU before he transferred in January to Texas A&M. He averaged 14 points and seven rebounds per game for SMU in his sophomore season.
