A massive brawl broke out between BYU and Memphis at the end of the Miami Beach Bowl, which the Tigers won 55-48 in double overtime.

After Memphis kicked a 55-yard field goal to tie the game in the first overtime and scored a touchdown on the first possession of the second overtime, defensive back DaShaughn Terry intercepted a BYU pass to seal the win. Several Tigers players piled on to Terry in celebration but the brawl broke out soon after.

It's not entirely clear what sparked the fight, but it may have been this altercation:

The brawl soon grew to include countless players on both sides, with multiple players throwing punches.

BYU defensive back Kei Nacua, his face bloodied, was seen throwing a punch at Memphis tight end Alan Cross, who had his back turned to Nacua.

Memphis offensive lineman Chase Johnson swung his helmet at BYU offensive lineman Tejan Koroma.

Memphis improved to 10-3 with the win. BYU dropped to 8-5.
