College GameDay going to Alabama-Wisconsin in Arlington for Week 1

Monday August 3rd, 2015

ESPN's College GameDay announced it is heading to Alabama vs. Wisconsin at AT&T Stadium in Arlington for Week 1 of the 2015 season.

The Sept. 5 game is part of the annual Advocare Classic, formerly known as the Cowboys Classic. This is the second straight year that College GameDay will be at the Classic for Week 1, having been on hand for Florida State's 37–31 win over Oklahoma State in 2014.

College GameDay also announced that it will be at the Army-Navy game at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Dec. 12, the final game of the college football regular season.

Alabama is ranked No. 3 and Wisconsin No. 18 in the Amway Preseason Coaches Poll, which was released last week. The Crimson Tide are coming off a 12–2 season and a College Football Playoff semifinal appearance, while the Badgers are coming off an 11–3 year and an Outback Bowl win over Auburn.

The Advocare Classic between Alabama and Wisconsin will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on ABC on Sept. 5.
