After Alabama struck first, Clemson’s offense got to work.

One drive after a Derrick Henry 50-yard touchdown run, the Tigers’ offense showcased their own explosive ability with a 31-yard touchdown pass from Deshaun Watson to Hunter Renfrow.

Watson found Renfrow streaking down the right side of the field, and the receiver made a diving catch in the end zone. The score tied the game at 7.

With the first quarter winding down, Watson found a diving Renfrow for a second time, this time in the back of the end zone 11-yard score. The second touchdown put Clemson ahead 14–7.

Renfrow had two touchdowns this season entering Monday's game.
