Missouri QB Maty Mauk faces potential legal ramifications after video goes viral
Tuesday January 26th, 2016

Missouri has suspended quarterback Maty Mauk indefinitely while the school investigates a video posted to Twitter Monday night that purports to show Mauk snorting a drug.

“We are currently gathering information regarding the video in question,” Mizzou said in a statement. “This is an issue we take very seriously and one that will not be tolerated within our program. We till take appropriate action once we have all the facts.”

Mauk entered last season as the Tigers’ starting quarterback but was suspended indefinitely in October. He was reinstated after missing four games and suspended again for the rest of the season just days later. The Kansas City Star reported that the second suspension was the result of a confrontation at a bar. He was reinstated by the team in late December.

Mauk will be a redshirt senior in 2016. He has thrown 42 touchdowns and 19 interceptions in 32 games with the Tigers.
