Four-star offensive tackle JP Urquidez will not enroll at Baylor.
Four-star offensive tackle JP Urquidez will not enroll at Baylor, he announced on Twitter Sunday.
The news comes as the Bears football program deals with the continued fallout from the firing of head coach Art Briles.
Briles was terminated by the school this week after an independent report from the Pepper Hamilton law firm found that the football program and athletic department had mishandled a number of sexual assault and domestic violence cases against football players.
University president Ken Starr has been reassigned to the role of chancellor and athletic director In McCaw has been sanctioned and placed on probation.
Urquidez, who signed his letter of intent to Baylor in February, is ranked as the No. 30 offensive tackle in the 2016 class, according to Scout.com.
He joins Kameron Martin as the second Baylor recruit to back out of his LOI.
