Four-star WR Auden Tate verbally commits to Florida State

Auden Tate, a top wide receiver prospect from Tampa, Fla., announced his verbal commitment to Florida State at his high school on Tuesday.

Tate is the No. 22-ranked wide receiver and the No. 196-ranked player in the class of 2015, according to the recruiting website Rivals.com.

He drew scholarship offers from Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State and Florida, among other programs.

Tate is the 18th player and second wide receiver, along with three-star Nyqwan Murray, in the class of 2015 to commit to the Seminoles. 

The Seminoles 2015 recruiting class is ranked No. 7 in the nation by Rivals. 

Florida State won the national championship last season and is ranked first in the preseason Amway Coaches Poll.
