Washington announces home-and-homes with Michigan, BYU
Washington announced future home-and-home series against Michigan and BYU on Wednesday.
The Huskies will host BYU on on Sept. 29, 2018, and travel to play the Cougars on Sept. 21, 2019. Washington will then host Michigan on Sept. 5, 2020, and travel to play the Wolverines on Sept. 18, 2021.
The games against BYU will mark the 10th and 11th meetings between the schools, with the Huskies holding the series edge 5-4. The two teams played last December in the Fight Hunger Bowl, with Washington winning 31-16.

Meanwhile, Washington and Michigan have played 12 times before, with Michigan holding the series edge 7-5. Four of those meetings have been in the Rose Bowl, with the Wolverines and Huskies splitting them 2-2. They last met in 2002, with Phillip Brabbs converting a field goal as time expired to give the Wolverines a dramatic 31-29 win.
Several other schedule changes come with Wednesday's announcement. Wisconsin canceled its games against the Huskies in 2018 and 201 due to Big Ten scheduling conflicts, and Washington's games against North Dakota and Sacramento State have been moved, from Sept. 15, 2018 to Sept. 1 for the former and from Sept. 19, 2020 to Sept. 12 for the latter.
Washington is entering its first season under new coach Chris Petersen after Steve Sarkisian left for USC. The team will be without quarterback Cyler Miles in the season opener Aug. 30 at Hawaii due to his suspension.
