Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall started the second half of Saturday's game against Arkansas after sitting out the first half as punishment for a July marijuana citation.

Tigers coach Gus Malzahn said earlier this month that Marshall would not start against the Razorbacks. Sophomore Jeremy Johnson started in place of Marshall.

Malzahn declined to tell reporters this week when Marshall would enter the game.

Last season Marshall passed for 1,976 yards and 14 touchdowns and added 1,068 yards and 12 scores on the ground while leading the Tigers to the BCS National Championship game.
