Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick says that the school's new shoe and apparel contract with Under Armour exceeds the $90 million that was originally reported by multiple media outlets.

Swarbrick and Under Armour declined to say how much the deal is worth.

The school and Under Armour announced a 10-year deal in January to supply apparel for all 26 of its varsity teams, ending Notre Dame's partnership with adidas after their contract expired.

“I love the way they skewed younger,” Swarbrick said to the New York Times of Under Armour. “Especially with a traditional brand, you want to make sure you don’t become narrowed to an older audience."

When the deal was announced, Swarbrick said that it will allow the school to take some of the cash in Under Armour stock, which could bump the compensation past the reported $90 million.
