Cornerback KeiVarae Russell, wide receiver DaVaris Daniels, linebacker Kendall Moore, defensive end Ishaq Williams, and safety Eilar Hardy are still in school, but they have not participated in practice or played in games while the process plays out.

The school has not said when it will make a decision, but Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly said that a decision on the matter is "imminent."

The five players were suspended in August and could be kicked out of school if they are found to have violated school rules.  According to the report, it is unclear if the school plans on vacating victories if the players are ruled ineligible for any game they participated in last season.

The school said that the honor code hearings have been completed and that the results are confidential.

The sixth-ranked Irish play North Carolina at home this Saturday.
