Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley said Monday that he will continue to evaluate head coach Will Muschamp throughout the entire season, according to Gator Zone

After the Gators started the season 2-1, Foley said that you can't judge a program based on one game or season, adding "we'll see where we are when we get to the end of the season."

Florida went 4-8 last season, and with the Gators currently 3-3 in 2014, questions about Muschamp's job security have only increased.

"At the beginning of the season we said we would evaluate the season as it plays out," Foley said Monday. "We will continue to do so. Our sole focus right now is supporting our coaching staff and players as they prepare for Georgia."

With Florida losing 42-0 in the third quarter of Saturday's home game against Missouri, Gators fans started to loudly chant "Fire Muschamp." The Tigers won 42-13.

"I’m really worried about this football team right now,” Muschamp said after the loss. “I’m not concerned about things I don’t have any control over."

Muschamp has coached at Florida since 2011, after taking over for Urban Meyer. In August, Foley said he envisions Muschamp leading the Gators for a "long, long time."

Florida has a bye in Week 9. The Gators play No. 9 Georgia in Jacksonville on Nov. 1.
