Report: Kevin Sumlin tells NFL teams he's staying at Texas A&M
Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin has informed NFL teams that he is going to stay with the Aggies, reports ESPN.
Several NFL teams had expressed interest in Sumlin, according to the report. The Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers all currently do not have a head coach.
Sumlin, 50, is signed at Texas A&M through the 2019 season and would have to pay $5 million to leave the school before the end of the 2016 season.

He recently completed his third year as coach of the Aggies. Texas A&M went 8-5 this season and won the Liberty Bowl 45-37 over West Virginia. The Aggies have won their bowl game in each season under Sumlin.
Sumlin is 28-11 overall at A&M, after going 35-17 during four seasons as head coach of Houston.
