Texas A&M quarterback Kenny Hill expected to transfer
Texas A&M quarterback Kenny Hill is expected to transfer from the program, a source confirmed to SI.com's Thayer Evans.
Hill has been granted his release from Texas A&M, per the source. Multiple reports list a transfer to TCU as a possibility for Hill.
Before the Aggies' 2014 season, Hill won the quarterback competition against five-star recruit Kyle Allen to succeed former Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel.
In the season opener against South Carolina, Hill went 44-of-60 for a school-record 511 yards and three touchdowns in a 52-28 win over the Gamecocks. The Aggies got off to a 5-0 start but then lost three straight games to Top 15 competition, including a 59-0 rout at the hands of Alabama.

Allen took over the starting job in November, and Hill did not play the remainder of the season.
Hill was also suspended for two games after violating team rules and athletic department policies.
Hill completed 66 percent of his passes for 2,649 yards with 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions this season. The Aggies finished 8-5 after beating West Virginia 45-37 in the Liberty Bowl.
