Vanderbilt coach apologizes for 'inappropriate' remark made to player
Vanderbilt coach Kevin Stallings apologized for what he called an "inappropriate comment" he made toward Commodores freshman guard Wade Baldwin during Thursday night's game against Tennessee.
As the teams were walking off the court after Vanderbilt won the game, Baldwin was seen clapping in the face of a Tennessee player.

Stallings reacted by yelling "I'll f------ kill you," while behind Baldwin as the teams shook hands. Video of the comment is below

In his postgame interview, Stalling said Baldwin has "got some things to learn" and that it "better never happen again."

After the game, Stallings apologized for the comment in a statement, saying he is "very remorseful."
"After the game, an incident occurred in which I need to apologize for. One of our players acted inappropriately and violated what we believe is good sportsmanship following the game.
"In my haste to resolve the situation, I made a very inappropriate comment. While obviously it would not meant literally, it was still inappropriate. I apologized to the player immediately following the game. Displaying good sportsmanship is of the highest priority in our program, win or lose. I am very remorseful of my actions tonight."
