Kentucky, Virginia still lead AP Top 25; Duke, Villanova rise
Kentucky and Virginia held onto the top two spots in the Associated Press Top 25 poll this week, while Duke and Villanova jumped to Nos. 3 and 4, respectively.
Kentucky (29-0) remained No. 1 after double-digit wins over Mississippi State and Arkansas. Virginia (27-1) routed Wake Forest on the road 70-34 before defeating Virginia Tech 69-57.

Duke (26-3) picked up a five-point road win over Virginia Tech and then defeated Syracuse 73-54 to jump one spot to No. 3. Villanova (27-2) had a pair of double-digit wins over Providence and Xavier to climb two spots to No. 4.
Their moves were made possible No. 6 Wisconsin (26-3), which fell two spots after a road loss to Maryland. The Terrapins jumped four spots to No. 10, while The Badgers rebounded with a win over Michigan State.
Other big movers include No. 7 Gonzaga (29-2), which dropped four spots after a three-point loss to BYU. No. 12 Notre Dame (24-5) fell three spots after losing to Syracuse. No. 14 Baylor also climbed five spots, while No. 17 Iowa State fell five spots.

No. 23 Ohio State (21-8) and No. 25 Murray State (26-4) both entered the top 25.
