Georgetown senior Tyler Adams saw his first game action since 2011 on Saturday, and he made the most of it.
Hoyas coach John Thompson III surprised his player, who was diagnosed with an arrhythmia just a couple of months into his freshman year, on Thursday by informing him he would be starting against Seton Hall on Senior Day.
Thompson had to get an NCAA waiver to allow Adams to make an appearance, according to the Washington Post.

Adams, who can only play for about one possession, started the game and put the opening points on the board with a one-handed dunk.
Adams, a 6'9" center, was afour-star recruit coming out of high school. After his diagnosis the school was able to get a medical hardship waiver for him, which allowed him to stay with the team while not counting towards its scholarship limit, according to the Post.
