Georgia State coach Ron Hunter got choked up talking about his son after the Panthers lost to Xavier.

As Georgia State's NCAA tournament run ended with a 75-67 loss to Xavier on Saturday, Panthers star R.J. Hunter embraced his father, coach Ron Hunter, in a hug.

Ron Hunter then got emotional in his postgame press conference when speaking about R.J.

R.J. Hunter scored 20 points in the loss, two days after his game-winning three-point shot and his father's reaction to it created one of the most memorable moments of the tournament so far.

After the Panthers were eliminated, Ron Hunter said the past week has been the "greatest week of my life" and the "best time of my life as a father."

"I don't want these kids to be sad," he said.
