Georgia State's Ron Hunter has received 'feelers' for other jobs
Georgia State coach Ron Hunter said he has received job "feelers" from other schools, but is not currently interested in leaving the Panthers, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The West region's No. 14 seed, Georgia State made a surprising run to the third round of the NCAA tournament this month, defeating No. 3 seed Baylor before losing to No. 6 seed Xavier on Saturday.

Hunter became a national figure along the way, first for tearing his Achilles while celebrating Georgia State's Sun Belt tournament title and then calling out President Barack Obama's bracket, falling out of his special-made chair (for his injury) when his son, R.J., hit a go-ahead shot with seconds remaining against Baylor and subsequently sporting a modified chair for the game against Xavier.
After losing to Xavier, Hunter became emotional talking about his son and the Panthers' run. R.J., a junior guard who averaged 19.7 points per game this season, could have an NBA future.
Hunter, who sports an 87-46 record in his four seasons at Georgia State, will receive a salary bump from $425,000 to $500,000 next season because the Panthers reached the NCAA tournament.

"I am 50, and quality of life means more to me," Hunter said on Sunday, according to AJC.com. "That's not to say if there's a job for me—a no-brainer—that I'd say no to looking at that, but there aren’t many of those. I don't have to chase money. My happiness means a lot more to me."
