Cincinnati's Mike Cronin cleared to resume coaching after anyeurism
Cincinnati head coach Mick Cronin has been cleared to resume coaching next season, university president Santa J. Ono announced on Monday.
Cronin also seemed to confirm the news with a tweet that included no text and only a brief clip from the 1986 film The Color of Money.
Cronin, 43, suffered a brain aneurysm earlier this season and was diagnosed with arterial dissection. In early January, Cincinnati announced Cronin would not coach for the rest of the season and instead oversee the program in an advisory role.

Cronin watched Cincinnati's NCAA tournament game against Kentucky on March 21 in person, sitting by himself in Louisville coach Rick Pitino's office at the KFC Yum! Center, where the game was being held. He also appeared at Cincinnati's senior day on March 8 and addressed the crowd before Cincinnati defeated Memphis.
Cronin has been Cincinnati's head coach since 2006. Larry Davis coached the Bearcats in Cronin's absence. Cincinnati went 23–11 (13–5 American) before losing to Kentucky.
