Alabama running back Bo Scarbrough suffers knee injury
Alabama running back Bo Scarbrough suffered a knee injury during practice on Friday.
Coach Nick Saban did not clarify about the nature of the injury, but AL.com reported that it's believed to be a torn ACL.
Scarbrough signed with the Crimson Tide as a member of the 2014 recruiting class, but did not enroll until this January because of academics. Rivals.com rated Scarbrough the No. 2 athlete and No. 16 player in the country.
The 6'2'', 235-pound Scarbrough was expected to compete for carries behind junior Derrick Henry.

The reported injury comes less than a week after the Tide dismissed running back Tyren Jones following an arrest for marijuana possession. In January, another running back, AlteeTenpenny, announced that he was leaving Alabama.
