LSU defensive tackle Trey Lealaimatafao was arrested on Thursday for simple battery and simple robbery, a felony, East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office police records show.
According to The Advocate, Lealaimatafao was involved in a fight in the parking lot of a Baton Rouge bar. It is his second arrest in the last year.
A team spokesperson told The Advocate that Lealaimatafao has been suspended indefinitely from the team.
Police records obtained by The Advocate say that Lealaimatafao beat an unnamed male victim unconscious and then punched the victim’s girlfriend in the face with a closed fist. He then allegedly dug through the male victim's pockets. He is being held in jail on $15,000 bond.
Lealaimatafao, a rising sophomore, was a three-star recruit who redshirted the 2014 season for the Tigers.
