Auburn has been picked by the media to win this year's SEC Championship, the conference announced on Thursday.

The Tigers came in first place with 96 votes. Alabama came in second with 80 votes, and Georgia came in third with 28 votes. However, Alabama was picked to win the SEC West division over Auburn, despite Auburn receiving more first place votes (108 to 92).

LSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Florida and Mississippi State also all received at least one vote for SEC champion.

Georgia was picked to win the SEC East with 166 first place votes. Vanderbilt was the only school in either division to not receive at least one first place vote.
