Former guard Stevie Clark sues Oklahoma State, coach Travis Ford
Former Oklahoma State guard Stevie Clark is suing the school, its Board of Regents and coach Travis Ford, claiming the university failed to keep promises made to him and forced him to take psychotropic drugs, reportsTulsa World.
Clark alleges the school required him to take medication in order to practice, causing side effects of erratic behavior and suicidal and homicidal thoughts. Clark also claims the school promised him a car during recruiting and more playing time than he received.
Clark filed the complaint in Oklahoma County Court on Wednesday. He was dismissed from Oklahoma State in February 2014, during his freshman year.
Clark averaged 5.3 points in 16 minutes per game for the Cowboys. He transferred to Indian Hills Community College after his dismissal, but left the school last October.

“Oklahoma State University has reviewed Mr. Clark’s petition and his claims are completely and utterly baseless,” school spokesman Gary Shutt said in an email to Tulsa World.
Clark is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.
