TCU took a fourth-quarter lead against Kansas State on a 69-yard touchdown run by quarterback Trevone Boykin.

With the No. 2 Horned Frogs on upset alert, trailing the Wildcats 42–37, Boykin broke outside, keeping the ball on an option, and burst up the right sideline, exploding past the defense and making for the end zone untouched.

TCU completed a two-point conversion after the score to make it 45–42.

Kansas State went on to tie the game on a field goal with 1:47 left.

After the touchdown run, his second of the game, Boykin had accumulated 115 rushing yards to go with 246 yards through the air. He had thrown for a touchdown and two interceptions.
