No. 7 Michigan State stunned No. 12 Michigan with a game-winning fumble recovery and touchdown return on Saturday evening, electrifying fans across Twitter.

With the Spartans down 23–21 to Michigan late in the fourth quarter, sophomore Jalen Watts-Jackson recovered a fumbled snap by punter Blake O’Neill and returned it 38 yards for a touchdown to give Michigan State a 27–23 victory.

Jackson turned a potential upset for the Wolverines into heartbreak in just mere seconds.

Some notable alumni lost their collective minds immediately afterward.
