Pittsburgh QB Chad Voytik will seek graduate transfer
Pittsburgh quarterback Chad Voytik plans to seek a graduate transfer after finishing his degree following spring semester, head coach Pat Narduzzi announced Monday.
“Chad has been a tremendous leader and teammate during his Pitt career, and certainly during the year I had the opportunity to coach him,” Narduzzi said in a statement. “We wish him the very best and will help him any way we can as he maps out his future pursuits. We will always consider him a Pitt Man. His contributions have been invaluable to what we are building here.”
Voytik, a redshirt junior, started as a sophomore in 2014, but lost the starting job two games into this season to Tennessee transfer Nate Peterman. Voytik completed just 16 of 25 passes for 112 yards, one touchdown and an interception in 2015.
In his one season as the starter, Voytik completed 61.3 percent of his passes on his way to 2233 passing yards, 16 touchdowns and seven interceptions. The Panthers finished that season 6–7, losing to Houston in the Armed Forces Bowl.

Peterman led Pittsburgh to an 8–5 record this season, throwing for 2287 yards, 20 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
