Two players flip commitments from Maryland to Ohio State

Linebacker Keandre Jones and quarterback Dwayne Haskins have switched their commitments from Maryland to Ohio State.

Linebacker Keandre Jones and quarterback Dwayne Haskins switched their commitments from Maryland to Ohio State on Monday. 

Jones, a four-star recruit from Olney, Md., is ranked by as the No. 13 outside linebacker in the class of 2016. He was a Maryland commit for more than 13 months before making the switch to Urban Meyer’s Buckeyes on Monday. 

Haskins, a four-star signal caller from Potomac, Md., is also ranked by as the 13th best player at his position in the 2016 class. He committed to the Terrapins last May.

An Under Armour All-American, Haskins was also recruited by LSU, Florida, Florida State, Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, Notre Dame, among several others.
